Description:

Robust perennial herb, up to 1.5 m. Leaves in a basal tuft, linear-lanceolate, usually upright. Inflorescence on a wiry, branched peduncle. Flowers large, tepals white with a dark greenish-brown centre line, spreading; stamens in a distinct asymmetrical 4+2 arrangement; anthers long, curved and pale yellow. |
