Description

Lake Malawi National Park is a small park covering c. 94 kmĀ². It was specifically created to protect fish and aquatic habitats but also includes areas along the mainland and several small islands in Lake Malawi. It was established in 1980 and in 1984 was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
